Google Introduces LearnLM, A Series Of Generative AI Models For Learning Activities

JAKARTA - Google introduced LearnLM, a series of new Google-generative AI models developed based on Gemini and specifically designed for learning activities.

Based on educational research and adapted according to human learning methods, LearnLM is the result of the efforts of the Google DeepMind team, Google Research, and a product team to help make learning experiences more interesting, personal, and useful.

Developed in collaboration with educators, learning experts, and other AI technology communities to maximize positive impacts and their potential responsibly.

This AI model set is expected to:

"With LearnLM, we improve the qualification of learning experience in products that you already use, such as Google Search, YouTube, and Gemini Chat, so that these products can help deepen your understanding," said SVP, Learning & Education Google, Ben Gomes.

Google is also implementing LearnLM to underlie and support the generating AI experience created for schools, through a new trial program in Google Classroom.

These features are expected to help teachers find new ideas and unique activities, get interesting materials, and adapt their lessons and content to each student, wherever they are.
