Wakasad Receives Report Of Promotion Of 46 Pati TNI AD, Including Major General Kowad Pertama
Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Wakasad) Lt. Gen. Tandyo Budi Revita received a report of the promotion of 46 High Officers (Pati) of the Indonesian Army at the Army Headquarters (Mabesad), Jakarta, on Wednesday 15 May. One of them, the first Pati of the Women's Army Corps (Kowad) who won the rank of Major General (Mayjen) in the Indonesian Army.
The extraordinary female soldiers are Major General TNI Dr. dr. Dian Andriani Ratna Dewi, SpKK, M. Biomed (AAM), MARS, SH, MH, FINSDV, FAADV, who currently serves as Chair of the Defense University Learning Quality and Learning Development Institute (IDU).
Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, MSc, in his written mandate read by Wakasad, congratulated Pati on his promotion. Kasad also reminded that this is a form of state appreciation for the achievements and dedication of Pati to the TNI AD, nation and state institutions.

It was recorded that there were seven Pati with the rank of Major General TNI (two stars) and 39 Pati with the rank of Brigadier General TNI (one star) who reported their promotion to Wakasad. Some of them (28 Pati) served in the TNI AD structure, while the other 18 Pati served outside the TNI AD structure.
"Wakasad emphasized the importance of contributing to our members, especially those on duty at the ends of this country. Every form of activity, no matter how small, is a charity of worship for us," said Wakasad, while reminding Pati to always be grateful and respond to this gift with full responsibility.
Kasad also advised that Pati, who were promoted, could become a role model and inspiration in the organization he leads, as well as their presence as a source of knowledge and enlightenment for their units.
Especially for Pati who served outside the TNI AD structure, Kasad emphasized that they are the ambassador and representation of the Indonesian Army. Therefore, they must work well, be enthusiastic, and maintain the good name of the Indonesian Army.
