The SAR operational preparedness exercise for Koarmada III of the Indonesian Navy was attended by a total of 715 personnel, consisting of Indonesian Navy soldiers in the Koarmada III area, Air and Air Police (Polairud) of the Southwest Papua Police, the Sorong Marine and Coast Guard Unit (KPLP), the Sorong SAR Office, BMKG Sorong, and medical personnel in the Sorong area. In the exercise, the defense equipment deployed from Koarmada III includes KRI Gulamah-869, KRI Tatihu-853, KRI Sura-802, Navy Ship (KAL) Wayag, KAL Tornado, Marine Security Patrol Vessel (Patkamla) Jefman, and two tugboats TD Umsini and TD Irau, then there were also rubber boats and seariders namely G7 and X2 from Lantamal XIV Sorong, then there was rigid buyant boat from the Koarmada III Frog Troop Command Unit (Satkopaska), and ambulances.
