Indonesian Hajj Candidates Begin To Enter Raudhah, Pilgrimage To The Tomb Of The Prophet

JAKARTA - The first batch of Indonesian pilgrims who have arrived in Medina gradually began to enter or make pilgrimages to the grave of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Raudhah, Prophet's Mosque, Medina.

"Starting today, all groups will enter the Raudah," said Head of the Special Sector Guidance Section (Kasi Bimbad) of the Prophet's Mosque, Syahro Marwan, in Medina, Tuesday, May 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Raudhah is a place between the Prophet's house (now the Prophet's grave) and the pulpit. The area from east to west is 22 meters long and from north to south is 15 meters.

Muslims believe that Raudhah is a mustajab place to pray. Even the Prophet narrated that Raudhah was a Garden of Heaven.

Before entering Raudhah, pilgrims must gather in the waiting area of the Prophet's Mosque. Precisely between the 360-362 gate near the Baqi burial area.

Syahro said pilgrims for Hajj candidates gathered an hour before Raudhah's scheduled entry.

"For example, the schedule for Raudhah's entry at 02.00 WAS in the morning, the pilgrims must have been at the location since 01.00 WAS," he said.

He conveyed that officers had arranged the grouping of visits to Raudhah based on generations and groups.

The inaugural visit on Tuesday morning began with 165 male pilgrims in the group SUB-01 and 198 PLM 01. Meanwhile, the first female congregation to visit Raudhah were the JKS-01 and JKG-02 batches at 07.30 WAS.

"Raudhah is called the Garden of Heaven because Allah SWT has lowered His grace and shared happiness in this place. Not only that, after the end, Raudhah will be transferred by Allah SWT to heaven," said Syahro.

Indonesian pilgrims can enter Raudhah and make a pilgrimage to the tomb of the Prophet SAW using Tasreh (a permit issued by the Government of Saudi Arabia), so they don't have to register through the Nusuk application.

"Indonesian pilgrims do not need to worry because entering Raudhah is facilitated by the government through the issuance of the Tasreh letter. Pilgrims do not have to fill in and register through the Nusuk application personally," said Head of the Section (Kasi) for the Guidance of Daker Medina Efrilen Hafizh.

Hafizh said the facilities for entry into Raudhah would be given collectively to the congregation.

According to him, the implementation of the visit to Raudhah will be carried out no later than three days after the pilgrims of Indonesian Hajj candidates are in the city of Medina.

"In each batch, two Tasreh will be issued. First, Tasreh is specifically for women. Second, Tasreh is specifically for men," he said.
