Seres has proven himself to be an electric car brand that should be taken into account, especially with the planned launch of several of his newest models in Indonesia.

Under the auspices of PT Sokoindo Automobile, Seres will bring the two newest models to the Indonesian market, one of which is the Aito M9 which was launched in China last year.

Aito is the result of a collaboration between Huawei and Seres, where Seres is responsible for manufacturing while Huawei provides electric motors, chips, sensors, and several other components.

Design

The car design follows the design of the Luxeed S7 sedan with a triangular headlights and an LED strip as well as a sloping roof line that gives an elegant impression in the style of European cars. The dimension of this car reaches a length of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,800 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.

Entering the cabin, users are presented with a seat wrapped in Nappa skin and a center console equipped with three screens, including the driver's main screen measuring 15.6 inches and a 16-inch front passenger screen. The Huawei OS Harmony System supports a 12.3-inch instrument panel, while the Huawei sound system with 25 speakers provides an extraordinary audio experience.

The Aito M9 is equipped with various modern features that pamper users, including high-level autonomous driving technology that allows cars to drive without driver intervention.

In addition, this car is also equipped with complete navigation devices such as the High Definition Map (HDM), thanks to a combination of 27 sensors carried by Huawei. Among them are Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) which can detect objects more accurately and quickly.

Powertrain

The ERVE version of the Aito M9 is powered by a 1.5 liter generator engine with 4WD two e-motors measuring 365 kW. The choice of an optional NMC battery reaches 42 kWh or 52 kWh from CATL, giving an electric range of 225-275 km. The mixed range reaches 1,362-1,402 km, with an acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in just 4.9 seconds.

The all-electric version offers two electric motors with a magnitude of 390 kW and a CATL battery with a magnitude of 97 kWh, capable of traveling a distance of 630 km, with an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

Price

Aito M9 comes at four trim levels, starting at 469,800 yuan (around Rp1.01 billion) for M9 EREV Max, 509,800 yuan (around Rp1.1 billion) for M9 EV Max, 529,800 yuan (around Rp1.14 billion) for M9 EREV Ultra, and 569,800 yuan (around Rp1.22 billion) for M9 EV Ultra. However, these prices cannot be used as benchmarks for the Indonesian market.
