Different From Other Countries, Subaru Offers WRX Wagon On Manual Transmission In Mexico
JAKARTA - Subaru launched the WRX wagon version for the Mexican market. The special thing about the car and not yet on other markets is, this model is equipped with manual transmission.
Reporting from Carscoops, Wednesday, May 8, the model, named WRX Sportswagon, was built on the Subaru Global Platform architecture. This is driven by a 2.4 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 271 dk of power and 363 Nm of torque.
The system is coupled to a symmetric all-wheel drive system that comes with a transmission of six manual accelerations.
According to the company, currently Subaru WRX Sportswagon is the only high-performance wagon sold in the country.
The model went on sale from the price of 819,900 Mexican pesos (around Rp779.7 million). Not only in manual variants, this manufacturer, which is famous for its iconic blue color, also sells the CVY version at a price of 899,900 Mexican pesos (around Rp855.7 million).

For the Mexican state, Subaru has opened a pre-sales phase for WRX Sportswagon before arriving at the market by the end of this year.
In Indonesia, Subaru also sells this elongated version of WRX starting at a price of IDR 975.5 million for GT-S EyeSight type to the top of TS EyeSight worth IDR 1.029 billion.
Unlike Mexico, Subaru WRX Wagon in the country is offered only on Subaru Performance Transmission or CVT eight accelerations.
