Fake Pilot Tricks 8 People With Hundreds Of Millions Of Losses, Victims Promised To Become Flight Attendants
TANGERANG - A man named Sandi Irawan who is a fake pilot is reported to have deceived 8 victims with losses of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah. The mode is promising victims to become flight attendants and stewards.
It is known that Sandi used a fake name on his pilot identification, namely Muhamad Syani.
Charlie Wijaya, the victim's companion, said that 4 of the 8 victims had made a police report.
He said the number of losses for each person was different, but if it was increased it reached hundreds of millions of rupiah.
"There were eight victims, seven people were promised as flight attendants or stewards. The one has a car, but the alleged perpetrator has not been returned until now," Charlie said when confirmed, Thursday, April 17.
"The number given is different but if the number of 4 victims he holds reaches a total of Rp. 400 million. So some are 20 million, some are 90 million," he continued
Charlie said that the victims of this fake pilot were dominated by women. They also come from outside Jakarta on average.
"That's the average woman from various regions. There are from Makassar, from Tangerang, one male victim," he said.
The perpetrator and the victim communicated via WhatsApp message. Then there is an agreement that eventually sends some money.

The perpetrator used attributes and identification of one of the airlines to convince the victims.
"He wears clothes like a pilot, so he is trusted by these victims. Because he claims to have the rank of stamp from the company. The pretext is that he can enter people. So that many people believe it," he said.
After following the instructions of the perpetrators, the victim was waiting for further news from Syani. But until now there has been no news.
"There are even women who have returned to Makassar, because there is no news," he said.
On that basis, 4 out of 8 victims have made police reports. Some have made it at the Tangerang City Metro Police.
Contacted separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police, Kompol Rio Mikael Tobing confirmed the report. However, he has not been able to explain in detail the case.
"There is already an LP (Police Report)," Rio said when confirmed, Thursday, April 17.
