PAN-RB Minister Azwar Anas Reveals Reasons For CPNS Selection To Be Held For 3 Periods: Many Registrants Don't Meet The Requirements

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said the selection of Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) in 2024 will be held for three terms with various stages of selection.

Anas said the reason behind the addition of the period for CPNS was because sometimes there were some registrants who did not meet the requirements.

"We conveyed this year that usually CPNS tests only once a year, this year CPNS tests are not once. But, three times. Why? Because in one class of CPNS, not all of them meet the target. Because 10,000 are registered, but those who meet the qualifications are not up to 50 percent," Anas said at a press conference. 'Skema Transfer ASN to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN)' at the Kominfo office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 17.

He said that sometimes prospective civil servants who registered could not meet the qualifications of up to 50 percent. Thus, the CPNS quota that had been prepared was scorched.

"But now, roughly (until) March is not fulfilled, we will fill it again in the following month until December," said Anas.

According to Anas, this has been stated in ASN regulations and has now been allowed.

Thus, it is hoped that later the fresh graduates who pass the CPNS qualification can be sent to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

"Hopefully the acceleration of the development of CPNS IKN can be realized properly soon," he added.
