The Legendary Korean Drama, 'Princess Hours' Will Be Remade
JAKARTA - A Webtoon entitled Goong or Princess Hours will be adapted into a Korean drama format for the second time. Goong was first made in 2006 and played by Yoon Eun Hye, Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Jeong Hoon, and Song Ji Hyo.
Today, March 5, Jae Dam Media, which manages the webtoon confirmed to have signed a remake contract with the production company Group 8. The company also handled the first remake in 2006.
Goong tells the story of a male prince in the era of constitutional monarchy who marries a contract with an ordinary woman. This drama was broadcast on the MBC television channel and was one of the shows that started the Hallyu wave.
This drama is one of the most memorable dramas for Korean drama fans. In Thailand, this drama has also been remade and reaped success.
