Constitutional Court Judge Asks Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture: Has Jokowi Ever Given Strange Duties?
JAKARTA - Constitutional Court (MK) Judge Arief Hidayat questioned whether or not there was a strange task given by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to his ministers.
The question was addressed to the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy during the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial, Friday, April 5.
It started when Muhadjir said that the minister of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) also carried out duties outside the main duties and functions outside the Presidential Regulation (Perpres).
"Usually these tasks are related to cross-sectoral tasks, so it is not per definition who is the task," said Muhadjir.
Exemplified, the task outside of the main duties referred to is like handling homecoming. Where, Jokowi appointed one of the coordinating ministers to get involved in handling it.
"As a big one, it's not the minister who is in our coordination according to Presidential Decree No. 35, for example the National Police Chief then there is the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of PUPR, the Minister of Trade who is the minister, who is in coordination I only have one, namely the Minister of Religion. we get an assignment letter," he said.

"I asked this, have there been tasks that were a bit strange?" asked Arief.
"I'm sorry I don't know what strange means," replied Muhadjir.
"That's beyond that main task force," said Arief.
"As far as I know there is none," replied Muhadjir.
