Song Kang Ho's Figure Wanted In Uncle Samsik's First Teaser

JAKARTA - The first teaser for the Korean series, Uncle Samsik, was released along with the poster. This drama marks the return of actor Song Kang Ho in drama production after 32 years.

The 42-second teaser starts with someone asking who Uncle Samsik is. Some other people are also looking for Uncle Samsik.

At the end of the teaser, Song Kang Ho who became the figure of Uncle Samsik smiled with a monologue, 'Everyone calls me Uncle Samsik). I really like it, that nickname."

Uncle Samsik tells the life of two men's ambitions in the 1960s set in Korea. They are Park Doo Chil (Song Kang Ho) who is named Uncle Samsik. Samsik said referring to eating three times and dealing with Doo Chil who can feed his family three times a day in times of war.

Byun Yo Han plays Kim San, a top student from the Korean Military Academy who dreams of changing his country. He is also a recipient of aferior scholarship and became an elite student.

Besides the two, this drama is played by Lee Kyu Hyung as Kang Sung Min's candidate leader Seo Hyun Woo as the military soldier Jeong Han Min, Jin Ki Joo as Joo Yeo Jin, Kim San's lover, and Tiffany SNSD in an undisclosed role.

Uncle Samsik is Song Kang Ho's latest collaboration with Shin Yeon Sik after the film One Win and the film Cobweb. Yeon Sik worked on the script for Cobweb directed by Kim Ji Woon.

His latest poster shows Song Kang Ho holding several boxes of food and smiling at the camera.

The drama will have 16 episodes and Uncle Samsik will premiere May 15 on Disney+.
