South Kalimantan Police Reveals 4.8 Kilograms Of Crystal Methamphetamine From Malaysia Network

BANJARMASIN - Polda South Kalimantan (Kalsel) revealed the circulation of methamphetamine with a total of 4.8 kilograms of evidence from the Malaysian network by arresting four suspects.

"These methamphetamine were supplied from Sumatra to enter Banjarmasin with various modus operandi," said the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Kelana Jaya, in Banjarmasin, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.

The four suspects, AR (31) and KH (34) were arrested by Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police with evidence of four packages of methamphetamine weighing 2,185 grams.

Then MH (30) was arrested by Sub-Directorate II as many as two large packages of crystal methamphetamine in Chinese tea packages weighing 2,080 grams and AD (29) there were 14 packages of shabu-shabu of 602.35 grams.

Kelana said that 2,185 grams of crystal methamphetamine was brought by perpetrators from North Sumatra using air transportation.

"The crystal methamphetamine in the form of a presidential decree has been packaged with food parcels deposited in the trunk of the plane," said Kelana.

According to Kelana, the mode of carrying narcotics directly on the plane is bold.

However, through scientific data processing with the Berkedasi application, the team managed to detect the target of the perpetrators from departure from Sumatra to arriving in Banjarmasin.

The team finally arrested the two perpetrators on Jalan Pramuka Kota Banjarmasin on Saturday (30/3).

"All of these disclosures are still being developed, including the possibility of having something to do with the Fredy Pratama network," said Kelana.
