Fired After Voiced Palestine, Melissa Barrera Reveals Actor's Support Scream 7
JAKARTA - Melissa Barrera opened her voice after being fired from the Scream franchise after voicing criticism of Israel. He also openly expressed support for Palestine on various occasions.
The Sam Carpenter actor in the Scream franchise was supposed to star in the same role for the latest film Scream. But he was removed from the project at the end of November after the production house allegedly did not accept Melissa Barrera's post.
Through his latest interview, Barrera revealed that at first he found it difficult but he felt that the support given by his fellow actors was very meaningful.
"Of course it's difficult because I think a lot, but I'm very lucky," Melissa Barrera quoted THR as saying.
I received a lot of support from the people around me: my team and my publicization - they really took me. At first everything felt sad because I really care about the franchise. It was really bad when it happened," he explained.
