Age 7 Years, Vania Putri Venna Melinda Wants To Feel Full Fasting
JAKARTA - Artist and politician Venna Melinda tells of her daughter, Vania, who has the desire to experience full fasting in Ramadan even though she is only 7 years old. This happened because Venna claimed to have taught her youngest child to fast.
Despite having experience with Verrel and Athalla, Venna admits that it is still difficult to teach fasting to her daughter who is actively asking various questions.
"Alhamdulillah, this year's Ramadan month is fun because Vania has fasted but for half a day, but because she is sick today she doesn't fast, just teaching Vania fasting is quite challenging, yes, because she has a lot of questions, 'why do I have to be half a day?', I said, 'yes, it's been half a day, you'll be 8 years old'," said Venna Melinda in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, March 26.
"And thank God yesterday he was happy just because the weather was bad, so the infection was sick, so that's it," he continued.
Not only taught to fast, Venna Melinda also taught her daughter to share it with those in need. This was done directly by Venna during Ramadan so that Vania could also see and imitate her mother's good activities.
"But yesterday with him, he distributed a lot of blessed rice, right, I have intended this 30 days to distribute blessings of rice around the house. In front of the house, to be precise, so whoever passed by we gave it, so if I had time with Vania and she was very happy to share in Ramadan," said Venna Melinda.

Unexpectedly, this good act was actually well received by Vania who immediately imitated her mother's actions. Venna said that one day Vania once gave food to children on the side of the road.
"Yes, and now when we finish breaking the fast where, then for example, he has a lot of food, where are the children, the children of the scavengers, 'I just gave it, I'm okay'," explained Venna.
"Just like Verrel and little Athalla, I always teach you if we have food, just give it the same, especially in the month of Ramadan, the month is full of blessings, so we have learned," he concluded.
