Microsoft And Seeds Initiative Hold AI Talent Roadshow At Six Universities In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Microsoft and the Grain Initiative held the Indonesian AI Talent Show to six universities in six Indonesian cities, with the topic The Future of the World of Work with Artificial Intelligence.
The roadshow, which is conducted in the form of public lectures, aims to equip 100,000 young workforces with artificial intelligence (AI) skills, data, and cybersecurity, as well as providing 1,000 of them with Microsoft certification scholarships.
"In dealing with the era of technological disruption, there are 5 main skills that are important in line with the widespread use of AI, namely creative thinking, analytical mindset, technology literacy, systemic mindset, and AI and Big Data," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Nezar Patria in an activity that took place at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh.
At the same time, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics also provides support for the Indonesian AI Talent program. This collaboration is in the form of support for the provision of 300 Microsoft certification scholarships in the fields of AI, Data, and Cyber Security for selected fresh graduates and final-level students.
In addition to Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh, five other universities that are part of the roadshow include Esa Unggul Bekasi University, Hassanudin University Makassar, Swadaya University Gunung Cirebon, Trunojoyo University Madura, and Ten November Institute of Technology Surabaya.
