9,150 PMIs From 10 Countries Will Return To Indonesia Next April
JAKARTA - A total of 9,150 Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) will return to Indonesia at the Eid Al-Fitr 2024 Homecoming. Head of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani said their plan would return to Indonesia in April 2024.
"They (PMI) will return to Indonesia in April 2024," said Benny Rhamdani to reporters, Monday, March 25.
Benny explained that the thousands of PMIs who will arrive in Indonesia in April 2024, come from 10 countries.
From Hong Kong 4,630 people, Taiwan 1,097 people, Great Britain and Northern Ireland 678 people, Japan 633 people, Singapore 476 people, Saudi Arabia 472 people, Turkey 206 people, South Korea 155 people, Poland 126 people, Maldives 89 people, and other countries 588 people," he said.

To make it easier for Indonesian migrant workers, continued Benny, his party will double the officers at the PMI Protection Service Center (BP3MI) spread throughout Indonesia.
