Toyota Etios Driver Acting Cowboy With Airsoft Gun In Mampang, Threatened With Life In Prison
JAKARTA - Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, Kompol David Kanito explained, the car driver who took a gun to another driver in Mampang, South Jakarta was threatened with life imprisonment, and even the death penalty.
David explained that the perpetrator with the initials HRR (32) was charged with Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law no. 12 of 1951 in conjunction with Article 335 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
"The threat of a maximum sentence of death or life imprisonment. The Emergency Law on the possession of airsoft guns and ammunition is in the form of live ammunition," David told reporters on Monday, March 25.
Regarding the chronology, it started when the perpetrator was driving a Toyota Etios car with a victim's car in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, March 21.
The victim was not happy that the car was hit by the perpetrator. At that time, the perpetrator immediately intercepted the victim until another driver was banged on the glass of the car by the perpetrator.
"But the victim (JPP) did not heed and continue the journey, and the suspect (HRR perpetrator) chased back until he got into an argument," said David.

Furthermore, the perpetrator who was still not happy finally took out an airsoft gun. The incident was also recorded until it went viral on social media.
The police, who knew the information, immediately conducted an investigation and finally arrested the perpetrators in the Bogor area, West Java, Saturday, March 23, early in the morning.
Not only that, his party searched the perpetrator's house. As a result, the police managed to find evidence in the form of a firearm-like object which turned out to be a match and an airsoft gun.
David said that the weapon was purchased by the perpetrator online at a price of Rp. 2 million.
"The perpetrator was arrested. From the results of his statement, he bought an airsoft gun from his friend named KS for Rp. 2 million. Meanwhile, his friend on behalf of KS is currently in Padang. The lighter weapon was obtained from a friend named IW. And the bullet was purchased online," he said.
