Tak Kunjung Diperbaiki, Kawasan Hek Kramatjati Kembali Tergenang Banjir Akibat Turap Kalibaru Jebol

JAKARTA - Along Jalan Raya Bogor KM 19, Hek area, Balekambang Village, Kramatjati District, East Jakarta, was flooded due to overflowing New Rivers that passed on the side of Jalan Raya Bogor on Monday, March 25.

The overflow was caused by a pile of river embankments that broke due to a very heavy water discharge.

"Flooding due to sheet piles broke," he said.

As a result of the puddle, the Hek area was flooded as high as 30 cm.

"The current is heavy and the water discharge is high. It has been coordinated with the kelurahan and local residents," he said.

Previously, the embankment or plaster on the right side of the Kalibaru River flow, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, was broken along 2 meters, Thursday, November 30, 2023.

As a result, the flow of water coming from Katulampa dam, Bogor, overflowed and overflowed onto Jalan Raya Bogor, Hek T-junction, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

The broken condition of the embankment has made residents of Jalan Rahayu, RT 01/01, worried about the floods that hit their residential areas. Residents are worried when it rains and there is a shipment of water from Katulampa, Bogor.

"Every time it rains, it always floods, if the river overflows, it is certain (floods). Earlier from dawn when I woke up, it was flooded. The water overflowed from Kalibaru, the embankment broke," said Robi (38), a resident of Jalan Rahayu at the location.
