2,001 Traffic Violators In Solo Sanctioned Tickets During Candi Operation 2024
SURAKARTA - More than two thousand traffic violators are subject to a ticket during the 2024 Candi Safety Operation in the city of Solo. Most of these traffic violators are two-wheeled vehicle drivers.
The Candi Safety Operation was held for 14 days starting March 04 and ending on March 17, 2024. The operation emphasizes traffic order and safety.
"For ticketing, there are as many as 2,001 violators from the target of 2,000 ticketing during the 2024 Candi safety operation," said KBO Surakarta Police Traffic Unit Iptu Dewi representing Kasat Lalu, Friday, March 22.
Iptu Dewi said that violators of traffic rules who were caught during the 2024 Candi Safety Operation were dominated by two-wheeled vehicle drivers. The type of violation is not wearing a helem, not installing a vehicle rearview mirror, fighting traffic flow and violating signs.
In addition, there were several other violations found during the operation, such as the use of exhausts that were not in accordance with the technical specifications or exhaust of brong, as well as drivers of vehicles who were minors.

"Drivers who commit violations are varied, ranging from elements of private employees, students, to ASN (state civil servants)," said Iptu Dewi.
Contacted separately by the Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Iwan Saktiadi said that after the 2024 Candi Safety Operation, the Surakarta Police would continue to intensify patrols in order to enforce traffic safety and order rules. The public is expected to always comply with traffic rules.
"Always obey signs, use Helems, and don't use non-standard exhausts. Keep in mind, the beginning of the accident started with traffic violations," he concluded.
