Used Goods In Kedoya Burned, 15 Firefighters Units Were Lowered

JAKARTA - A used goods stall on Jalan Kedoya Raya, RT 01/03, Kedoya Selatan Village, West Jakarta, was hit by a fire, Tuesday, March 19, noon. The fire started to burn at 11.17 WIB.

"The object caught fire. You deployed 15 fire engines with 75 personnel. The fire was quite large because there was a lot of flammable material," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when confirmed.

Currently, the fire situation has been localized by firefighters. Dozens of firefighters continued to struggle to extinguish the fire.

"Starting localizing at 11.40 WIB. The cooling process is still being carried out until noon at 13.32 WIB," he said.

Meanwhile, the officers have not been able to confirm the cause of the fire origin. Officers have also not been able to confirm whether there were any injuries or fatalities due to the fire.
