Accepted In The Navy, Taeyong NCT Departs Military Mandatory April 15

JAKARTA - Taeyong will leave to carry out his obligations as a Korean citizen. In a recent statement, the agency announced that the rapper will start his duties on April 15.

Hello, this is SM Entertainment. Taeyong NCT will be conscripted to the military in the Navy as an active soldier on April 15, "said SM Entertainment.

The agency explained that there were no official events at the basic training camp and Taeyong would go privately. They hope fans don't come to the training center.

"There was no event the day he entered the training camp, we ask for your understanding because his military service will be carried out behind closed doors to avoid security incidents due to on-site riots," the agency said again.

"Please provide support and love until Taeyong fulfills his mandatory military service and returns in good condition. Thank you," concluded the agency.

Not the oldest member, but Taeyong became the first member in NCT to carry out military service. In addition, Taeil, the oldest member in NCT is also reported to be on duty this year. Taeil is currently undergoing a period of vacuum regarding his health condition after a collision.

This year he released his second mini album, TAP and held a single TY TRACK concert last February in Seoul.
