BMW Presents The Last Manual Transmission M3 For The Japanese Market, Limited 150 Units

JAKARTA - Manual transmission is an icon for many cars, especially car performance. There is a sensation in itself when stepping on the gas pedal and coupling and then moving the pressneling lever. However, for various reasons, this manual transmission began to be abandoned by a number of car manufacturers.

As BMW did in launching the special edition M3 MT for the Japanese market. This high-performance sedan is only available as many as 150 units.

Reporting from Motor1, Friday, March 16, this car was present to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the manufacturer's inaugural victory at the Deutsch Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) by Roberto Ravaglia.

The German manufacturer will provide three color options with 50 units each, consisting of Alpine White, Black Saphire, and M Brooklyn Gray. All cars will get gold rims and red seat accents taking inspiration from M3 E30 DTM in 1989.

This four-door sedan is also equipped with a number of standard equipment in the interior such as the Harman / Kardon sound system, M seat belt, and M Drive Professional.

For machines, the BMW M3 MT still carries the same engine as its standard variant with 6-cylinder engines as fresh as the DOHC which can pump up to 480 dk of power and a maximum torque of 550 Nm.

While the price, BMW charges 14.2 million yen per unit, equivalent to IDR 1.49 billion. Customers can register to buy it from 13-27 March 2024.
