KPU Will Rebuk The Determination Of Election Results If The Recapitulation Is Completed Faster
JAKARTA - The KPU will carry out a break related to the determination of the results of the 2024 General Election if the recapitulation of the national level vote acquisition is completed before March 20, 2024.
"Yes, it will break out with the others first," said RI KPU member August Mellaz as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 13.
He is also optimistic that the national recapitulation process will be completed earlier than the predetermined date. This is reflected in how the progress of national recapitulation is currently underway.
"So we can hope that before the 18th it can be completed. Before the 20th it means," he said.
Based on the national recapitulation as of Saturday (9/3) to date (13/3), the Indonesian KPU has ratified the vote acquisition for the presidential election at nineteen provinces at the national level; namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Central Kalimantan, Bali, Lampung, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, South Sumatra, Central Java, DKI Jakarta.

The recapitulation process for the vote acquisition tally leaves 19 more provinces out of 38 provinces that have been calculated. According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
