KOI Chairman Welcomes The Great Executive Board Of The Indonesian Boling Association
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Boling Association (PBI) Executive Board (PBI), Agus Muhammad Bahron, visited the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Thursday, March 07. This visit received a warm welcome from the Chairman of KOI, Raja Sapta Oktohari.
During the meeting, Agus Muhammad Bahron stated his commitment to completing the work which was still pending. "We immediately rushed (work), so we attended the Minister of Sports 2 days ago and we got a lot of instructions from him. Today we have made a visit to the Chairman of KOI," said Bahron.
In addition, Bahron also promised to take maximum steps to restore the popularity of Boling in Indonesia. "We were given a lot of explanations about KOI itself and he hoped that the Boling could later be even more active and improve athletes to compete in multi-international events," he added.
In his efforts to develop the sport of the Boling, Bahron plans to collaborate with various parties and open Boling Centers in various regions through collaboration with Indonesian entrepreneurs. "We hope to be more active in establishing cooperative relationships with various parties and producing athletes at the international level," he said.

However, the challenge in developing the sport of the Boling is not easy, as stated by the Chairman of KOI, Raja Sapta Oktohari. Oktohari highlighted several aspects that became obstacles, including issues of place, coaches, referees, events, venues, and organizations.
"About the first challenge in the place, this sport is commercial and community sports, but for professionals, such as in seagames million, it is quite difficult. The two coaches, the three referees, the four events, the fifth vanue, the sixth organization," explained Oktohari.
Nevertheless, Oktohari emphasized the importance of PBI activities in international body events to develop human resources (HR). "We are now in sports, especially multi-events, it must be a storefront. So we have a success storefront to build human resources, we are pushing this again through an annual member meeting (KOI) so that we have a national pride," he said.
