Starring Queen Of Tears, Kim Ji Won Calls His Character More Chararism

JAKARTA - Kim Ji Won starred in the latest Korean drama entitled Queen of Tears. Through this drama, he was paired with Kim Soo Hyun where they played husband and wife.

This is not the first time, Kim Ji Won has played the role of a chaebol child or a child of a wealthy person. However, he admits that his character in this drama is growing and charismatic.

"The first time I read the script, I was curious about the characters and how the characters developed," said Kim Ji Won at the Queen of Tears press conference today, Thursday, March 7.

Kim Ji Won plays Hong Hae In, the daughter of a conglomerate who becomes the CEO of the Queens Department Store. He is married to Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun).

My character this time is more charismatic. She is a cold-hearted career woman, but yes she will be difficult to hate because of her charm," said Kim Ji Won.

"I took some related classes from character depictions about chaebol families better and I also paid attention to his style," continued Ji Won again.

He was delighted to be able to play Hong Hae In and felt a lot helped by staff who supported the better shooting atmosphere.

Playing a character who has money allows me to shoot in a more comfortable environment. It feels good to act as Hong Hae In," said Kim Ji Won.

Queen of Tears tells the story of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In, a wealthy couple who have been married for three years. They face various challenges and make them think about separating.
