Complained By The AMIN National Team, Bawaslu Decides That The Central Java KPU Will Not Violate Election Rules
Central Java Province Bawaslu decided that the local provincial KPU did not violate the procedures for the 2024 election stages in accordance with the laws and regulations on complaints of alleged problematic voter list data (DPT) during the democratic party, February 14, 2024.This was decided in a session held at Bawaslu, Central Java Province, Semarang, Wednesday, March 6, on the report of the winning team for the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates Anies Bawesdan-Muhaimin Iskandar."Decided, the reported party did not violate the procedures for the 2024 election stages in accordance with the laws and regulations," said the head of the Central Java Province Bawaslu Assembly, Muhammad Amin, quoted from Antara.In their consideration, the panel stated that the report from the legal team of the Anies-Muhaimin pair could not be proven true during the examination trial.In addition, he continued, the KPU as the reported party had also updated the voter list before the voting.Based on this decision, the chairman of the panel invited the reporter to submit a correction to the Indonesian Bawaslu if he was not satisfied with the decision.Previously, the Coordinator of the Anies-Muhaimin National Law Team for the Central Java Region, Listiani, said that there were 502,000 voters registered in the problematic DPT. According to him, of this number, 1,780 prospective voters have been recognized as problematic by the KPU.
The prospective voters who are considered problematic include, among others, people whose age has not met the requirements, people who have died, to people whose domicile addresses are incorrect.
