Bawaslu Murung Raya Finds ASN Personnel Of The Agriculture Service Violate The Neutrality Of The 2024 Election

MURUNG RAYA - The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, during the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) process admitted to handling various violations. One of them concerns the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN)."Regarding violations (elections), both reports from the public and our findings from Bawaslu are very minimal, one of which we handle regarding the neutrality of ASN," said Bawaslu Chairman Murung Raya Elides Jena in Puruk Cahu, Antara, Friday, March 1.According to Elides, the violation of neutrality was carried out by ASN personnel who served in the Agriculture Service and the process of handling it had been handed over to the local government as the supervisor of the ASN itself.Regarding the implementation of the election in Murung Raya, Elides said that his party was very grateful to all parties, including the organizers and election participants because they had maintained a conducive atmosphere so that there were no obstacles until the district level calculation process was completed.Chairman of KPU Murung Raya Okto Dinata said he was very grateful that during the two days of the open plenary meeting, the vote count for 10 sub-districts could run smoothly, safely and in an orderly manner."It is inseparable from the help of all parties, be it from security, bawaslu, media colleagues and all election participants," said Okto.Okto also hopes that after the plenary meeting at the district level the situation will remain conducive. He also said that voter participation in the 2024 General Election in Murung Raya was in the percentage of more than 80 percent.
For the results of the district-level Pleno, Okto said again, it will then be brought to the provincial level on March 2. After that, no later than March 20, 2024, the elected candidates will be announced by KPU Murung Raya.
