DKPP Examines KPU Chairperson And Commissioner For Alleged DPT Leaks Tomorrow

JAKARTA - The Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP) will hold a hearing to examine alleged violations of the Code of Ethics to the chairman and members of the KPU tomorrow, Wednesday, February 28, morning.

The examination was based on case number 4-PKE-DKPP/I/2024 which was reported by Rico Nurfiansyah Ali, where the complaint was directed at the Chairman and Member of the KPU Hasyim Asy'ari, and its members namely Mochamd Afifuddin, Betty Epsilon Idroos, Parsadaan Harahap, Yulianto Sudrajat, Idham Holik, and August Mellaz.

"The DKPP Secretariat has properly summoned all parties by submitting a summons to the trial five days before the examination hearing is held," said DKPP Secretary David Yama in a written statement, Tuesday, February 27.

David explained that the subject of the complaint, the complainants argued that the Defendants were not accountable, and professional because of the alleged leakage of the 2024 Election Fixed Voter List (DPT) data.

At the trial which will be held tomorrow morning in the DKPP courtroom, the agenda is to listen to statements from the Complaints, Defendants, or Related Parties and Witnesses presented.

DKPP has also summoned the parties properly in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 paragraph (1) of DKPP Regulation Number 3 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Certifying the Code of Ethics for General Election Organizers.
