Creating A Digital-Smart Generation With Siberkreasi

JAKARTA - Social media is now one of the most popular digital platforms for Indonesians. However, many people do not understand the role of social media in real life.

For this reason, Siberkreasi with Facebook and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kemenkominfo) held an online discussion with the topic "The Perks of Being Digital Native."

This online discussion presented three speakers, namely Donna Visca, a gamer and commentator for e-sports matches. Beauty Vlogger Agnes Oryza and Nisa An Nasr, known as the Travel Blogger.

"The three speakers agreed that technology makes it easier for them to provide information and education related to their passions to a wider audience, in an easy and fast way as one of the advantages of living in the digital era," wrote Siberkreasi in an official statement, Sunday, 28. February.

For example, Donna Visca is a gamer. She saw that the development of the world of technology such as games had a big impact on people's interests.

"Because it's still relatively new, so the field is still really big for us to look for profits in that game and e-sports. So it's still wide open, especially when we do it with passion, so it feels better!" said Donna.

The same thing was conveyed by Agnes Oryza in building her community to share information and education about the world of beauty through social media. She believes that the availability of a social media platform is a useful way to expand knowledge in the realm of self-care, which is different for everyone.

The social media platform also means a lot to Nisa An Nasr, who has successfully inspired her audience to be more adventurous in exploring the beauty of this country. Including finding tourist destinations that are not inferior to foreign countries.

"Social media which makes it easier for people to know more about local tourist attractions has a positive impact on strengthening the tourism industry which is one of the largest and most influential industries for the Indonesian economy," she said.

The third is aware that there are many advantages of the digital era for all people who want to take advantage of technology in a positive way. They also believe that in order to create a technology-capable society, care and credibility in any information that will be disseminated are needed.

"One of the keys to becoming a successful content creator is to be consistent in making materials that are both educational and entertaining in their own way," said moderator Annisa Virdianasari, a member of Siberkreasi.
