Google Messages Will Present Gemini Chatbot Support

JAKARTA Google Messages, a service forRich Communication Services (RCS) made byGoogle, will get Gemini support. This Artificial Intelligence (AI) model will be present in the form of a chatbot.

Based on the findings of 9to5google,Geminiwill help Google Messages users to compose messages, exchange ideas, plan events, or help users think of fun conversation ideas.

In addition to providing advice related to writing, Gemini can be used to create images.Chatbotini can also provide direct access to Google Workspace, Maps, YouTube, and many more services.

Interestingly, this chatbot interaction is not limited to text because Google Messages users can upload or ask images. While using this feature, the voice memo will be disabled automatically.

Unfortunately, Google doesn't use encryption-to-end during user interactions with Gemini. However, the company promises security and privacy and ensures that Gemini won't peek into other chats in the user app.

Gemini support will roll out to beta and its device is limited. Some of the phones that will get this support are the Pixel 6 and above, the Pixel Fold, the Samsung Galaxy S22 serieske at the top, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold.

Gemini will launch to 165 countries in English. Especially in Canada, Google Messages users can use French. If you want to try Gemini support in beta, make sure that you are 18 years old.
