360Kredi Launches FintechVerse Podcast As A Digital Financial Literacy Forum

JAKARTA - The financial growth of P2P Lending technology (fintech) in Indonesia continues to show a fairly rapid increase.

Based on the Financial Services Authority (OJK) report throughout 2023, the distribution of online loan funds reached IDR 241.56 trillion.

CEO of 360Kredi Kuseryansyah said the figure shows that the community has a fairly high level of need for loan funds. Where the ease of access, fast funds are disbursed, without guarantees and freedom in choosing installment tenors, is the reason people choose P2P lending.

"Unfortunately, this increase has not been followed by a good level of public literacy. As a result, the problem of default, data leakage, and obtaining funds from illegal online loan platforms is still rampant," he explained in his statement, quoted on Sunday, February 25.

In addition, online loans (pinjol) are currently still considered negative in the community. Therefore, 360 Kredi as one of the P2P lending platforms initiated and released the Podcast #FintechVerse

Meanwhile, the podcast is a place for literacy as well as media for fintech lending and fintech experts to share experiences around the world of financial technology. Currently, the #FintechVerse Podcast can be seen through the 360Kredi youtube channel.

"As a fintech company that is committed to encouraging financial innovation and inclusion in Indonesia, we are excited to be able to launch the #FintechVerse podcast," he said.

Kuseryansyah said this podcast is a continuous dedication of 360Kredi to encourage dialogue, knowledge sharing, experiences and collaboration between individuals, platforms, associations to regulators with the breadth of insight in meeting and educating the public on the fintech Indonesia landscape which is now growing rapidly.

To provide education and increase public insight regarding fintech lending, the #FintechVerse podcast will bring from industry experts and practitioners, fintech lending CEOs, associations, regulators to related governments.
