Record Print, Helldivers 2 Capai More Than 409 Thousand Players Simultaneously On Steam

JAKARTA - Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has reached a milestone, where according to SteamDB, the game has been played by 409,367 players simultaneously on Steam over the past 24 hours.

This number appears to beat Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5, which reached 364,548 players simultaneously on Steam, about nine years ago.

Amid his success, studio CEO Johan Pilestedt had revealed that they had been developing Helldivers 2 for nearly eight years.

Helldivers 2 itself is a third-person team-based shooter game featuring Helldivers elite troops struggling to win the intergalactic struggle to clear up galaxies from rising alien threats.

Helldivers 2 is available for PS5 and PC, with the support of cross-platform multiplayers. Arrowhead is also rumored to add cross developments someday.
