KPU: C1 Documents For Presidential Elections From 64.8 Percent Of TPS Have Been Included In Sirekap

JAKARTA - Member of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia Betty Epsilon Idroos said that C1 documents resulting from the presidential and vice presidential elections from 64.8 percent of polling stations throughout Indonesia have been included with the Recapitulation Information System or Sirekap application.

"As of February 17, 2024 at 12.00 WIB, it has been able to broadcast 64.8 percent of the total 823,236 polling stations, namely 533,435 polling stations for the results of the presidential and vice presidential elections," Betty said in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday 17 February.

The C1 document data was matched manually by the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) officer. This was done because previously there was a data discrepancy between the number of polling stations (TPS) and the data entered by the Sirekap application.

Not only the presidential and vice presidential candidates, KPPS officers have also entered data on the votes acquired by candidates for provincial and district-level legislative members from 402,911 polling stations.

However, Betty added, KPPS officers will still improve the vote count of the DPR RI candidates at 7,472 of the 402,911 polling stations.

He added that the public can already see the votes for the presidential election to the candidates from each polling station through the Sirekap application.

Betty ensured that the data improvement process would continue so that people could see all the data on the number of votes in full.

He also ensured that the data acquired at each TPS was in accordance with the data that would be displayed to the application. "We feel that this must of course be continuously improved mitigation and must be continuously accounted for to be continued," he added.

The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

Next, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), Partai Hanura, Partai Garuda, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Partai Demokrat, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Perindo, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), and Partai Ummat.

In addition, there are six local political parties as participants, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Acehnese People's Independent Solidity Party.

Meanwhile, the presidential and vice presidential elections were followed by three pairs, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
