Napoli Welcomes Stefano Pioli When Fired By AC MIlan

Napoli are interested in recruiting coach Stefano Pioli if AC Milan is fired. Although there are several alternative coaches, Pioli is Napoli's priority.

Napoli heated up the match against Milan in Serie A 2023/2024. The defending champion visited the San Siro Stadium in a duel that took place Monday, February 12, 2024, early morning WIB.

Whether he wanted a psyched war or did intend to recruit Pioli, Napoli President Aurelio De Rukis expressed his desire to recruit Pioli to handle I Partenopei next season.

De Laughis is considering bringing Pioli to Napoli if next season Milan is no longer maintained. He is still monitoring Pioli's stressful situation after the Rossoneri failed to compete in the race for the league title.

Even though he is currently in third place, Milan is considered difficult to catch up to one city rivals, Inter Milan, who lead the standings. Inter themselves are still solid at the top with 57 points and eight points adrift of Milan.

However, it was not easy for Milan to hunt for three wins while hoping that Inter would lose points. The reason is, I Nerazzurri still shows consistency.

Likewise Juventus, who is in second place with 53 points. Milan did focus on chasing Juve while waiting for Inter to slip.

However, fans think Milan has failed. Moreover, the team was also eliminated in the 2023/2024 Champions League.

Although still competing in the Europa League or Europe's second caste, Pioli is considered a failure. This is what makes fans no longer enthusiastic when Milan play the second round of the competition.

Pioli actually didn't really fail. However, he remains under pressure so Milan may lay off the coach at the end of the season.

In addition, there are already several candidates who will replace Pioli. For example, Antonio Conte, who is still unemployed after leaving Tottenham Hotspur and Julien Lopetegui, former coach of the Spanish national team and was the last Wolverhampton Wanderers manager.

Regardless that De Rukis is heating up Milan's match against Napoli, but he does support Pioli. De nyakis hopes the 58-year-old coach can replace Walter Mazarri.

The problem is, Pioli receives a bigger salary than the coach at Napoli. In Milan, Pioli pocketed a salary of 4 million euros per year. Meanwhile, Napoli only paid 2.8 million euros to Luciano Spalletti who then led the team to win the Scudetto.

Meanwhile, Rudi Garcia, who replaced Spalletti, received a salary of 3 million euros per year. However, Garcia failed and was dismissed.

De Badminton also has several alternative coaches. Apart from Pioli, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini and Vincenzo Italiano who handled Fiorentina became candidates to coach Napoli.

However, De Badminton will not rush to assign a coach to face next season's competition like when he appointed Garcia.
