BPK Audits Ministry Of Health's Financial Reports In Potentially Fraud Areas
JAKARTA The examination of the financial report (audit) at the Ministry of Health in 2023 began after Member VI of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Pius Lustrilanang submitted a letter of examination assignment to the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
The examination of this financial report (LK) will be carried out with a risk-based audit (RBA) approach focused on risky areas, including the potential risk of fraud.
"Based on this approach, the examination will focus, among others, on spending on social assistance, spending on goods to be handed over to the public/local government, shopping on public service agencies (BLU), shopping for goods in the form of government assistance for payment of national health insurance contributions, and implementation of the Institute Level Financial Application System (SAKTI)," said Pius, Antara, Thursday, February 8.
The merger of various financial management information systems in ministries/agencies into SAKTI is considered to produce a large database. Therefore, he continued, BPK checks will be directed by optimally utilizing information technology to be more effective and efficient.
His party expects the commitment of all levels of the Ministry of Health to build effective communication and synergy with the BPK, so that the fulfillment of the data and information needed runs smoothly and on time.
"To the BPK audit team, I remind you that in carrying out the examination, it always adheres to the basic values of the BPK, namely independence, integrity, and professionalism, enforcing the BPK code of ethics and working in accordance with the State Financial Audit Standard (SPKN)," he said.
