Investigate The Role Of National Hero, Dimas Anggara Routinely Visits Lafran Pane's Grave

JAKARTA - Dimas Anggara is trusted to play a role in the biopic film directed by the production house Reborn Initiatives and the Radepa Production as well as a collaboration with the Islamic Student Association Alumni Corps (KAHMI) entitled Lafran.

Lafran Pane alias Lafran himself is the founder of the Indonesian Student Association (HMI) organization that enforces Indonesia through Islamicism held by its members to this day.

Dimas, who plays Lafran, said that he has his own challenges with this role. He felt this even before the shooting process began, at the time of character research from Lafran himself.

"And to be honest, I thought that doing research for him would be easy, but it turned out to be very difficult, so it happened that Mr. Aris also accommodated me to be able to meet with my family, I was also able to meet HMI people," said Dimas Anggara in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Monday, February 5.

In addition to visiting the family, Nadine Chandrawinata's husband also reads a lot of books related to this Lafran figure himself. Not infrequently he also searches through the internet.

"Yes, I did research, yes, I read the book. I was also given the opportunity to discuss with his family, from my son I discussed a lot with his family, and our director, Mr. Rizal, I was also given more than the google I did," he said.

It didn't stop there, in order to get a soul from this Lafran figure, Dimas, who underwent the shooting process in Jogjakarta where Lafran Pane was buried, admitted that he routinely made a pilgrimage to the grave of the national hero.

"Ziarah, that's for sure. Because we shot a lot in Jogja and from my inn to his grave it was 8 minutes on foot, so I did it morning and night, morning and night," he concluded.
