The Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Ensures The Responsibility Of Treatment For Students Victims Of Stray Bullets During The Pursuit Of Drug Perpetrators
SULTRA - Polda Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) ensures responsibility for a student with the initials SS (21), the victim of a stray bullet from the police pursuit of the perpetrator of drug trafficking.

Starting from reconnaissance, six members of the Opsnal Unit 1 Sub-Directorate II of the Narcotics Directorate of the Southeast Sulawesi Police saw a white Honda Brio with the number DT-1375-BB driven by IP, entering the gas station area.
IP got off the vehicle and then took a pack of Milo's milk box that was placed on the ground around the gas station.
The police reminded the perpetrators to be cooperative. However, the perpetrator tried to avoid, and even rushed into a four-wheeled vehicle.
"The perpetrator at that time did not want to give up, did not want to make peace with us, even the person concerned returned to the car, then immediately stepped on the gas," he said.

Even though the team gave a warning, IP still didn't want to give up, so the Opsnal Unit 1 team took measured decisive action.
However, he continued, the bullet that was fired missed and hit a student with the initials SM who was in the car.
Bambang emphasized that the members' actions in the arrest were a measurable effort to protect themselves from direct threats, especially after the suspect threatened to hit the officer.
IP and AN suspects have now been secured at the Mako Directorate of Drug Investigation at the Southeast Sulawesi Police for further investigation.
Both were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) subs Article 112 paragraph (2) jo. Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of maximum punishment in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
Investigators secured 11.84 grams of evidence of methamphetamine, a Honda Brio DT-1375-BB, a cell phone, and a waist bag.
