Police Suspect Long And Short Laras Senpi Found By Residents In The Plantation Of The Remaining Aceh Conflict

The two firearms were one long-barreled and one short-barreled.During the patrol, the joint team was visited by officers and conveyed the discovery of firearms. Then, officers directed that the firearms be handed over to the police."Then, the resident took the initiative to hand it over directly to the Resort Police. This step is very good so that our environment is maintained kamtibmas especially ahead of the 2024 General Election," said the Police Chief."Then, the resident handed it over to the East Aceh Police Headquarters. We appreciate the resident for handing over the firearm," said Nova.The middle-ranking police officer appealed to people who store or own firearms illegally to hand them over to the police. Illegal possession of firearms is an illegal act, he said.According to the Police Chief, possession of firearms without permission violates Article 1 of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 with the threat of 20 prisons.
"Currently, people are facing the 2024 General Election. Let's create an atmosphere within the jurisdiction of the East Aceh Police which is safe, comfortable, peaceful and cool. If anything violates the law, such as illegal possession of firearms, immediately convey it to the police," he said.
