Ahyeon Returns To BABYMONSTER, Introduces New Single Surprise Announcement

JAKARTA - Ahyeon is confirmed to be joining BABYMONSTER again. This news was shared by YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk through a video they shared today, Thursday, January 25.

The video, entitled 'Surprise Announcement', contains several important points regarding BABYMONSTER's next activity. Previously, they made their debut with a single BATTER UP which was only available through a music video via YouTube.

Ahyeon was also not present in the BATTER UP video due to her declining health condition. Ahyeon will take part in promotions through the first mini album released this year. As a result, BABYMONSTER will record two songs: BATTER UP and pre-release Stuck in the Middle with seven members.

The pre-released Stuck in the Middle song will be released on February 1, but their mini album will only be released in April. Currently, the agency is focusing on preparing their mini album.

"Ahyeon is already in good shape and back to YG. She's currently recording for the mini album," said Yang Hyun Suk.

"With a mini album, you can look forward to the performance of seven members including Ahyeon," he said again.

In addition, the agency is also preparing the debut album BABYMONSTER which is planned to be released this year. They added up to 40 producers so that the album-making process can run quickly.

Along with this video, a teaser for the pre-release song BABYMONSTER was revealed for the first time. This video shows the logo for BABYMONSTER's newest song.
