Turkish Citizen In Bali Shot, Perpetrator Is Still Being Hunted By Police
A Turkish citizen with the initials TM (30) became the victim of a shooting at a villa in the Tumbak Bayuh Village area, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali. There were 5 gunshot wounds on the victim's body.
"Currently, friends from the Bali Police Ditkrimum and the Badung Police Chief are investigating and currently the victim is still being treated at the Trijata Police Hospital (Polda Bali) and later we will develop it. The condition for the victim has been stable," said Head of Public Relations Kombes Pl Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, Tuesday, January 23.
At the scene, the police found shells and bullet projectiles. The motive for this shooting is being investigated.
"We will investigate, including earlier the bullet casings have been secured and the projectiles. (Later), who will be identified and what the motive is, we are investigating. The rifles from the casings or projectiles are 7.62 caliber. So small pistols and rifles have not been found, there are three projectiles at the location that are still intact and there are two casings," he added.

Meanwhile, the Badung Police Chief, AKBP Teguh Priyo Wasono, said the victim suffered five gunshot wounds to his body.
"So there are five holes. Approximately what happened at 01.00 WITA this morning," he said.
Based on the results of witness examinations and CCTV footage, the shooter is suspected to be a foreigner.
"It was seen on CCTV that one person (the perpetrator) was carrying a firearm. The motive is still being investigated, and the perpetrators have not been found," he continued.
