Inspired By Film, Margot Robbie Will Release Fashion Book, Barbie: The World Tour
JAKARTA - The Barbie phenomenon doesn't seem to end yet. The year has changed, but Margot Robbie will present the world of Barbie through her latest fashion book, Barbie: The World Tour.
This book is the result of Robbie's collaboration with her stylizer, Andrew Mukamal. The two of them worked together to revive Barbie in the real world by dressing Margot Robbie like Barbie clothes.
Since showing the Barbie costume at CinemaCon in April 2022, Margot Robbie has consistently worn Barbie-style clothes in various activities. All of these clothes will be told in her second fashion book.
"This book is an idea I have in the living room when I start dreaming about Margot's outfits for Barbie's pres tour in March 2023," Andrew Mukamal wrote via his personal social media.
"I never imagined in a few months, we were shooting this project with the team we dreamed of. This book is the result of a love-filled partnership, dedicated to all Barbie lovers and fashion fans around the world," he continued.

Mukamal uploaded a cover of this book featuring Margot Robbie lying like a Barbie doll. Some pink items lined up next to the actress according to Barbie's characteristics.
Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig toured Barbie film pres in various cities and countries such as Toronto, Sydney, Seoul, Mexico, Los Angeles, and London. Mukamal always dress up Margot Robbie's appearance to match Barbie's doll collection.
This press tour was stopped due to the SAG-AFTRA strike last July so that Robbie and Mukamal teamed up with photographer Craig McDean for them to shoot with fashion collections using a number of well-known brands.
I want to be involved because this is what I want. Barbie Experience doesn't start when people sit on the bench and watch the film, and I don't want this to end after the film ends," Margot Robbie told Variety.
According to Robbie, the Barbie phenomenon started when she and Ryan Gosling were shooting scenes on the coast of Venice with colorful legging and the public seeing them.
The book is planned to be released on March 8, 2024 with a little writing from Barbie director Greta Gerwig.
