Police Secure Dozens Of Liters Of Alcohol Sold In Small Stalls
JAKARTA To reduce the number of disturbances in public order security (Kambtibmas) the police conducted liquor raids (alcohol) at a number of points in the Banyumas area. As a result, officers secured 45 liters of ciu and 30 liters of palm wine.
"We have raided several stalls in the Ajibarang Bus Terminal complex and managed to secure a total of 45 liters of ciu, 30 liters of palm wine and various brands of liquor," said Ajibarang Police Chief AKP Heri Sudaryanto in a statement received on Monday, January 22.
Tens of liters of ciu and tuak and their owners were immediately secured to the Ajibarang Police Headquarters for further investigation. As seen in the photo, a small shop was found selling ciu and tuak.

According to the police chief, one of the reasons for drinking was to maintain regional conduciveness and anticipate various social problems caused by alcohol consumption, including in the open campaign for the 2024 election.
"This activity is expected to prevent people's diseases and to provide a sense of security, comfort and create conduciveness for the community", he said.
