Observer: Don't Choose Political Parties And Legislative Candidates With Troubled APKs
JAKARTA The series of traffic accidents in Jakarta caused by campaign props (APK) violates the rules and needs special attention and handling.
As is known, a number of APKs such as party flags were damaged along the Pondok Kopi flyover, Duren Sawit sub-district, East Jakarta, disrupted motorists.
The motorcycle accident that hit a car on Jalan Laut Arafuru, Duren Sawit sub-district, East Jakarta was caused by the driver's view being blocked by a banner of legislative candidate (Caleg).
And most recently, the husband and wife (couple) fell from the motorbike until they broke their bones, as a result, the party flag collapsed at the Mampang Flyover, South Jakarta.
Seeing this phenomenon, City Administration Observer Nirwono Yoga emphasized that the public is advised not to vote for general election contestants (Pemilu) who are proven to have violated the rules or rules for utilizing the APK.

"The public is advised not to choose political parties (Parpol) or candidates who are not in an orderly manner. Such as the APK disrupting city visuals, and ignoring public safety as a form of social sanctions from the community as prospective voters," said Nirwono during a conversation with VOI, Wednesday, January 17.
Nirwono continued, political contestants should currently follow the era of digitalization, aka the times. In addition, the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) and the General Elections Commission (KPU) in the future must also prohibit political parties and campaign candidates conventionally, including installing billboards or similar.
"In the future, KPU and Bawaslu will ban political parties or campaign candidates conventionally by installing billboards or posters, and encourage or require switching to the digital era by utilizing social media platforms (Medsos) and mass media to campaign effectively, efficiently, and environmentally friendly," he said.
