Deputy Mayor Of Surakarta Complains About Gibran's Performance Makes Perda Mandek: Responsibility As Regional Head Must Be Considered
Surakarta Deputy Mayor Teguh Prakosa said the discussion of a number of road regional regulations on the spot was due to waiting for a discussion with the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Because of the regional regulations, there are parts that must be followed up with the mayor (regulation of the mayor), including the APBD," said Teguh in Surakarta City, Central Java, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 17.
He said one regional regulation could generate four to five guardians.
"If it is not implemented, then the regional regulation will not work, because the implementation must have more religious mayor regulations," he explained.
He said the government was not only executive, but also legislative. Therefore, the legislature has an obligation to encourage the government to complete regulations that must be completed in early 2024.
"So that the implementation of normal government outside of democratic parties," he said.
Related to this, Teguh asked Gibran to continue to pay attention to his responsibilities as regional head, so that a number of these regulations can be completed immediately.
"So, which responsibility as regional head and which responsibility as vice presidential candidate must be considered," said the PDI-P politician.

He said several regional regulations still need to be discussed with the mayor of Surakarta, including regional regulations on employment, regional spatial planning (RTRW), and tax levies.
"Well, this must be evaluated, meet later at the end of January, then in early February we evaluated the performance. So, legal products must be implemented. So that legal activities must be completed," he said.
Furthermore, the results of the regional regulation are submitted to the public so that there are no negative questions or assumptions that seem to judge the government as not working.
