Fleeing Since November 2023, Fugitive Case Of North Jakarta Police Domestic Violence Arrested In Guangzhou China
TANGERANG (TANGERANG), a fugitive in domestic violence (KDRT) in North Jakarta, was finally arrested by the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) in Guangzhou, China.
The perpetrator with the initials ETT (35) has been hunted, because his name has been on the wanted list (DPO) since November 2023.
The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) Guangzhou, Wijaya Adibrata said that the alleged perpetrator was arrested in Guangzhou, China, Monday, January 15, 2024.
"The person concerned is the North Jakarta Metro Police DPO," Wijaya said in his statement, Tuesday, January 16.
Wijaya explained that ETT was immediately sent home using the Garuda Indonesia GA-899 route Guangzhou-Jakarta and landed at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Monday, January 15, at 15.45 WIB.

The officer temporarily withdrew the immigration passport document belonging to ETT so that the person concerned did not run away again during the legal process in Indonesia.
"The withdrawal of Indonesian passports can be carried out by an authorized official if the holder is suspected of committing a criminal act or violating the laws and regulations in Indonesia or is included in the prevention list," he said.
On this basis, ETT's passport was revoked to limit mobility during the legal process at the North Jakarta Police.
