8 Subdistricts In Muara Enim, South Sumatra Submerged By Floods, BPBD Builds 45 Command Posts
The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra (Sumsel) established 45 posts for evacuation coordination and provided services to flood-affected residents. Head of BPBD Muara Enim Regency, Abdurrozieq Putra explained, the 45 posts were established in each affected or flooded village. "So there are about 45 villages covering 8 sub-districts affected by flooding in Muara Enim Regency," he said confirmed in Palembang, South Sumatra, Tuesday, January 16, confiscated by Antara. Abdurrozieq said that at the post BPBD provided services, among others, related to health and food assistance to flood-affected residents.
In addition, he continued, providing clean water service assistance to residents. He also said that BPBD had conducted a rapid assessment with forkopimda and Muara Enim Regent related to the disaster.
His party also received assistance from companies in Muara Enim Regency in handling the impact of flooding.
