Accept Recruit Joel Hoekstra For South American Tours And European Festivals

JAKARTA - Rock Accept band will feature at all European festivals this year and South American tours in May with Joel Hoekstra.

Hoekstra will replace Phil Shouse, who will stick with the band Accept as their permanent live guitarist for all other shows.

Joel Hoekstra, who is based in New York, is best known by his fans as a member of the legendary band Whitesnake and is part of Trans-SIberian Orchestra.

He has also played with Cher, Night Ranger, and Foreigner, and many more of his collaborations.

"It is a great honor for us to be on stage with Joel Hoekstra. Joel is an extraordinary guitarist and I have great respect for him. The whole band is looking forward to playing with this string," commented Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffmann as quoted by Blabbermouth.

Meanwhile, Hoekstra admitted that she was very honored and excited to appear with Accept.

"I'm really looking forward to meeting all the Accept fans in South America and Europe! Let's have fun!!"

Accept recently completed work on a new studio album planned for release this year through the band's new record label home, Napalm Records.
