South Kalimantan Provincial Government Builds IDR 38 Billion Water Distribution Network In The Sea
BANJARMASIN - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan Provincial Government) has built a main distribution network (JDU) of IDR 38 billion with a pipe length of 17 kilometers in Tanah Laut Regency.
"Pipa JDU has a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters to increase the supply of clean water in areas in need, we hope that the availability of clean water will be even more optimal in this area," said Head of Settlement and Drinking Water Restructuring of the South Kalimantan Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Angga Rinaldi Rizal, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.
He said the JDU pipe was built 17 kilometers long, starting from the booster in Kurau District to the reservoir in Tabanio Village.
"Development of the main distribution network of water is a vital necessity to ensure the need for healthy and safe water for people in the sea," he said.
He said the efforts of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government to meet the community's clean water needs were a progressive step to realize the availability of clean water for the entire community.

Angga revealed that the construction of water levels in the country has been completed 100 percent, then water levels will be rebuilt in Barito Kuala Regency.
The JDU pipeline will be built starting from Pinang Village to Tabunganen District and will be carried out in the current budget for the 2024 period.
Angga hopes that through the construction of JDU, the need for clean water will gradually begin to increase throughout South Kalimantan.
"We hope that people can live healthier lives with clean water, so that they can contribute more optimally to regional development," he said.
