Revenge Because Mother Often Hurts, Man In Ponorogo Kills His Brother
PONOROGO - Ponorogo Resort Police, East Java, detained Ahmad Prasetyo (AP), the perpetrator of the murder of his own brother under the pretext of land disputes, resulting in his mother being often immunized and psychologically depressed.
"This case was revealed after the AP perpetrators volunteered to surrender to the authorities," said Ponorogo Police Chief AKBPAnton Prasetyo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.
The perpetrator, who is still the victim's brother, surrendered himself to the police after hiding in a rice field area in Pulung Village, Pulung District.
"The perpetrator turned himself in to the Pulung Police, yesterday (Monday, 1/1) at around 11 pm," he said.
Before surrendering, the perpetrator also met his uncle and was advised to surrender to the police.
"Maybe because of panic and alcohol influence, he had time to hide. After calming down, it was only recommended to surrender to the police," he said.
Kapores said the reason the perpetrator had the heart to kill the victim was because he did not accept that his mother often hurt his heart by the victim. In addition, the victim also often threatens to abuse the perpetrator's nephew.
"His heart was hurt because of the boundary problem of land belonging to the perpetrator and the victim. Where the victim often moved the site of land, the perpetrator also hurt the perpetrator's mother," he said.
Anton said the perpetrator's heartache peaked after finding out that his mother had been rushed to the hospital.
The perpetrator, who was in Kalimantan, went home to meet his mother. Then on January 1, 2024, the perpetrator killed the victim after having a liquor party.
"After the alcohol party, met the victim and got into an argument. Then at that time the perpetrator immediately hit the victim with iron cor. After the victim lay down, it was then hit with a flagpole," said Anton.
