North Kalimantan Governor Urges ASN Not To Golput
TANJUNG SELOR - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Zainal A Paliwang, appealed to all state civil servants (ASN) to participate in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) by exercising their voting rights.
This was conveyed by him at the time of the joint ASN meeting within the North Kalimantan Provincial Government. According to him, the government continues to strive to make the 5-year democratic party a success. Even so, he also asked ASN to maintain neutrality.
The neutrality of ASN is a reflection of holding a free and fair election.
Zainal emphasized that state resources, namely bureaucracy, finance, and authority, are not manipulated for the benefit of one party, which can have an impact on unequal and competitive competitions.
"Let's make the democratic party a success which will be held on February 14. I urge ASN not to abstain. However, keep neutralizing as ASN," he said, Tuesday, January 2.
